Bear Cottage provides support, respite and end of life care for children with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Located on Sydney's Northern Beaches, Bear Cottage is like a home away from home - as far removed from a hospital environment as possible, while still being set up to provide excellence in paediatric medical care 24 hours a day.

Maddy and little sister, Sienna.
My journey with Bear Cottage
Maddy's sister, Sienna, was born with Spinal Muscular Atrophy in 2008. Soon after, the family were introduced to Bear Cottage. Sadly, Sienna died at age 2, but Maddy has remained part of the Bear Cottage family ever since.
