Appointment process for parents and carers with a referral
We accept referrals for outpatient physiotherapy for children 0-16 years of age living within the catchment area for South East Sydney Local Health District/Sydney Children鈥檚 Hospital Randwick. Referrals can be from Community Health workers, parents and carers.
- Children requiring general paediatric physiotherapy management who live outside the local area should be managed by their local physiotherapy service.
- Children with a permanent, long term or significant disability may be more appropriate for referral to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). Early Intervention supports can also be provided via the NDIS for eligible children with disability or developmental delay.
- SCHN is not currently an NDIS registered provider for any services. Children eligible for NDIS support will be directed to an appropriate provider.
