About our service

The Spinal cord injury and condition service is part of Rehab2Kids. 

At Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, full care of traumatic spinal cord injury patients is handed over to the rehabilitation team when medically stable. The rehabilitation team provides consultation for patients with acquired spinal cord injury (that is, injury occuring as a result of infection, vascular problems, or cancer treatement).

Ongoing therapy continues to be provided by allied health professionals not necessarily part of the rehabilitation team.
