Check out the below organisations who ease the financial burden of a cancer diagnosis and help families focus on healing.

Redkite

is a national organisation offering financial support to children (up to 18 years) with a cancer diagnosis. Redkite offer services that help families manage everyday expenses, Coles vouchers for groceries and fuel and essential household bills.

The charity also provides a one-off education grant to help children maintain their education goals. This can be accessed by registering on their website.

Kids with Cancer

provides a range of financial support services for families, whose child (12-years-old and under) has been diagnosed with cancer.

Leukaemia Foundation

offers financial assistance, accommodation and a transport service to families affected by a blood cancer.

Cancer Council

The provides a one-off payment to assist families manage everyday expenses associated with having a family member diagnosed with cancer. The Cancer Council also provides financial counselling. 

Brainchild

provides financial support to families of children affected by brain and spinal cord tumours.

Leila Rose Foundation

is dedicated to assisting families affected by rare childhood cancers. It provides families with financial support and ensures they have a complete understanding of their child鈥檚 rare condition and treatment options available.

Country Hope

The Trust provides financial support and food hampers to country children diagnosed with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

provides accommodation, financial assistance and practical support to families from rural and regional areas.

Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation

provides financial and travel assistance for the families of children undergoing a bone marrow transplant. 

Rise Above Capital Region Cancer Relief

support families who live in the ACT, Queanbeyan or surrounds. They provide financial assistance for medication relating to current treatment for cancer, chemotherapy, food supplements and food & petrol vouchers, electricity accounts and fertility preservation.
