DASH is a telephone, helpline service that provides short-term advocacy for people with disability, their carers and support people.
What does DASH do?
DASH will connect you with an experienced advocate that gives you guidance on aspects of your life where you feel you are being treated unfairly and support you in resolving your issue, whenever possible. It is a maximum of three sessions where the advocate will listen to you, provide you with information, explore your options and work with you until you find suitable steps you can take to address the issue. If the issue at hand was not resolved short-term, they will attempt to find you alternative services that may assist you.
